Two events in August from Happy Dancing Turtle bring the opportunity to appreciate the summer season’s bounty. As the availability of fresh local produce ramps up, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the abundance and food may inadvertently go to waste. From 6:30-8 pm on Tuesday, August 12, take part in a class on food waste reduction to learn tips, share ideas, and take part in a hands-on activity focused on using scraps from fresh produce.
